On 21 April, we welcomed 14 guests to continue our celebratory series of events for the launch of FOYER Issue 03: Nature & Culture, with a paper poppy flower-making workshop in collaboration with Suvi Savola from Other Flora, who is also the cover star of the edition.

Taking place in The Maker Store in West Amsterdam, we explored nature and culture through Suvi's life-like crepe paper poppies. Workshop participants mastered the essential skills for cutting and shaping petals, preparing the centre of a poppy, and harmoniously assembling these elements into a stunning poppy flower with a flexible wire stem. Everyone created beautiful, individual poppies with copious cups of Mountain tea and slices of cake to fuel their creativity.
